BIO
Freddi Waselius is a Finnish rocker who plays the guitar, sings his heart out and writes sustainable, handsome rock. He has developed his original music over the years while also enjoying a fair deal of local success in various cover bands.
Freddi grew up playing guitar, bass and piano in the 1990s. Doing this led to performing in various bands at parties and other occasions to the degree that soon he was playing around 60-70 gigs per year. His own writing and composing has been a big part of his musical life all the time and in 2013 he performed in the Finnish final of Hard Rock Rising. His music could be described as rock with positive energy, real touch and international sound.
To take his writing to the next level Freddi teamed up with Ted Sablay, touring musician with The Killers, who consulted him with the creative process and resulting in a set of new songs. In 2018 Jussi Ylikoski, guitarist in Disco Ensemble, was recruited as producer for an EP, Turn the magic on, that will be released in the spring of 2019. The first single, titled Mystery, hit the streams in September 2018.
